IOST Presented RIZIN FC Digital Trading Cards Event at NFT WEEKS TOKYO
On January 6, 2022, NFT-Japan, the developer of RIZIN FIGHTING COLLECTION, and IOST held an event to interact with users at the NFT WEEKS TOKYO in Ginza, Japan.
“RIZIN FIGHTING COLLECTION” is an NFT marketplace that provides NFTs of famous scenes from mixed martial arts RIZIN, which is scheduled to be launched in 2022. A digital trading service allows users to purchase NFTs of match highlights and best photos and enjoy collecting and trading them.
NFT WEEKS TOKYO
NFT WEEKS TOKYO is a month-long event (December 10–27, 2021 — January 4–11, 2022) co-hosted by CoinPost, the largest cryptocurrency and blockchain media company in Japan, and EDLEAD, the leader of NOMA, an international video production studio, which gathers experts and solution providers in NFT.
Mr. Aihara, CEO of NFT-Japan, the developer of the service, and his staff introduced the outline and appeal of the NFT digital trading service. Limited edition goods of RIZIN FC and IOST stickers were also distributed at the exhibition.
The event attracted many visitors, including people active in the blockchain and NFT industries and fans of mixed martial arts RIZIN. IOST community members also gathered at the venue to enjoy offline interactions. One IOST fan came all the way from Okinawa to attend the event by plane!
The OKCoinJapan team, which has been working with IOST since last year to promote the event, also came to support the event.
