IOST X Hainan | Unleashing The Power Of Blockchain By Building Strong Government Partnerships
On Nov 29th, the 2019 International Blockchain Technology Innovation Summit Forum was held in Sanya, Hainan. IOST co-founder Terry attended the summit and shared his insights with various influential figures in both public and private sectors on how blockchain technology can benefit governments and enterprises.

The 2019 International Blockchain Technology Innovation Summit Forum was successfully held under the guidance of the Hainan Provincial Department of Industry Information Technology, and supported by major institutions and enterprises, such as the Asian Blockchain Industry Research Institute, China Science and Technology Industrialization Promotion Association, Technology Industry Promotion Working Committee, the Central University of Finance and Economics Blockchain and Digital Economy Research Center, and Beijing Digital Economic Research Institute, Fuxing City Internet Innovation and Entrepreneurship Park, Hainan Software Park, Hainan Provincial Doctoral Fellow Industrial Promotion Association, etc. The summit was also covered by leading media such as 8BTC.
Attending the summit are the mayor of Hainan, the former director of the Bureau of Industry Affairs of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the former deputy director of the Beijing Regulatory Bureau of the China Securities Regulatory Commission, and the former deputy director of the Research Bureau of the People’s Bank of China. They all delivered speeches and expressed their confidence in the blockchain industry.
Digital economist Chen Xiaohua, the deputy director of China Economic Network of the National Information Center, and the Dean of the Asian Blockchain Industry Research Institute shared their opinions on technology development and the empowerment of real sectors. IOST is honored to share the stage with these movers and shakers of the industry.

Hainan--The Incubation Ground For Blockchain Solution
The Hainan Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology approved the establishment of the Hainan Blockchain Pilot Zone in the Free Trade Zone on September 30, 2018.
The Hainan Blockchain Pilot Zone encourages bold experiments and innovative reforms to promote system and industry innovation to gain competitive advantages. It also aims to accelerate the mass adoption and application of blockchain technology and cultivate new industries.
On October 8, 2018, the Hainan Blockchain Pilot Zone in Free Trade Zone was officially established in Hainan Ecological Software Park. Since then, Hainan has been the core test zone for China’s blockchain technology development. Recently, at the Hainan International Digital Assets Trading Technology Innovation Summit, Wang Lu, Vice Governor of the People’s Government of Hainan Province, expressed his hope in Hainan becoming a leading blockchain research and application hub.
Recently, China elevated blockchain development to the national strategic level and regard it as holding critical significance in technology and innovation breakthrough.
