The IoT Blog

The Internet of Things, or IoT as it has become known, is all around us these days, and that’s kind of the point — enabling all of our devices to connect with one another and with the Internet to make every aspect of our lives easier, from the morning coffee to falling asleep at night. I hear these 3 letters, I, o, T, nearly everyday, and I think I have an idea of what they imply, but I want to know more. Which brings me here. Over the next year, I am going to do a deep dive into the Internet of Things, and write about what I find. The topics will be formed as we go, but I plan to explore things like what devices are being connected, and perhaps which ones aren’t, how new technologies are enabling the ubiquitous connectivity, when we can expect the fully automated world of sci-fi movies, which companies are leading the way, and why it all matters for our day to day lives.

I hope that this blog will be helpful to you and others curious about how technology is making everything around us “smart,” and that you enjoy reading along. Please leave comments or write to me at I would love to connect and hear any ideas or feedback you have.

Thanks and happy reading,
