IoT Chain will be at the 4th Industrial Revolution Bosch IoT Hackathon in Beijing on July 19th-21th, 2019.

In this 4th Industrial Revolution Bosch IoT Hackathon, five application scenarios include intelligent manufacturing, intelligent networking, intelligent transportation, intelligent building, and IoT sensor were released in advance, and the elimination competition has been carried out.

With the high compression codec scheme of automatic driving real-time data transmission solution, ITC team has stood out in the challenge of intelligent transportation and successfully advanced to the finals.

ITC’s segmented codec solution explores autonomous driving

Autopilot technology is the development trend of mobile travel in the future, the problem that the core technology perception layer first solves is the positioning problem. High-precision positioning sensors involve the transmission of large amounts of data. How to reduce the amount of data transmission and efficiently transmit data is one of the technical problems.

The challenge of this Bosch IoT Hackathon intelligent transportation is to investigate high compression codec algorithm suitable for real-time transmission of high-precision positioning GNSS related data for autonomous driving

Considering the redundancy of data and the real-time requirements of computing, ITC team’s Compression codec is designed with segmented compression codec to match the big data transmission in the field of automatic driving.

The 4th Industrial Revolution Hackathon

As the biggest front-tier tech hackathon in China this year, “the 4th industrial revolution” Hackathon by DoraHacks will set up different tracks for the hackers, which include 5G, IoT, AI, Blockchain and more. Also, tracks like medical health, environment, social innovation will be included in-order to host a big cross-over tech-party for all hackers.
