IoT Fest Kraków — 11 March 2017

The first Internet of Things Festival was organized on 11 March 2017 at hub:raum Kraków and it enjoyed great popularity — there were more than 400 registrations!

The event was organized by the initiative of IoT creators which is proudly supported by hub:raum powered by T-Mobile. This local event brought a great number of IoT companies and startups, students, hardware geeks and IoT enthusiast. The participants highly valued the possibility to share knowledge, experience and visions about technological and business opportunities of the Internet of Things in Poland.

IoT Fest in Kraków consisted of three streams (presentations, showroom and workshops). Presentations answered the hard questions that IoT businesses ask every day. There was a lot of serious stuff here. Wojciech Pawlak, who is responsible for innovations at hub:raum & T-Mobile PL, presented key benefits and features of NB-IoT technology.

Moreover, the participants had a chance to literally “touch” and “feel” the IoT technologies presented at the IoT showroom and participate in three different workshops. The workshops proved highly valuable for those who always wanted to learn more about IoT from hands-on experience and from people who are true IoT creators.

IoT Fest in Kraków is over, but this is just the beginning of awakening the potential of the Internet of Things. The event in Kraków opened a cycle of local IoT Festivals to be organized in CEE countries.
