IOV is Releasing Weave.
In a few weeks, we will be releasing the IOV Name Service and our namespaces called *starnames. These namespaces are the building blocks of a new economy for users, wallets, and companies because they will simplify the exchange of values by delivering a human-readable address in the blockchain industry.
At IOV, we believe that every great product has an underlying technology that can be empowered on its own.
In our mission to create a universal and agnostic name service for the blockchain industry, we needed an extensible and powerful ABCI application framework. On the road of making IOV names Service, we developed our own SDK called Weave.
Weave is a modular Tendermint ABCI application framework that is easy to build on..
It already has many followers and forks on Github and we truly believe that Weave provides an easy-to-use API compared to other alternatives in the industry. Although it is providing simple API, it makes no compromises in security nor efficiency. It is open-source, free and embedded in IOV’s mission to bring equal access to the world’s values to all.
