IOV joins the OECD Blockchain Policy Center at the Anti-Corruption Forum “Tech for Trust”
On March 21st and 22nd, the OECD organized in Paris the 2019 Forum “Tech for Trust”. Blockchain, big data analytics, AI and other new technologies are transforming the way of working for governments, businesses and society.
The 2019 Forum “Tech for Trust” focused on the risks and opportunities of new technologies for anti-corruption & integrity. New insights related to trade, foreign bribery, competition and development co-operation and other issues also featured in the discussion.
With over 1800 participants from 120 countries, the OECD Global Anti-Corruption & Integrity Forum is leading the policy debate on integrity and anti-corruption worldwide.
With the other leading experts in the European blockchain industry, IOV was invited by the ACN Secretariat and OECD Blockchain Policy Center to participate in the private workshop about blockchain and anti-corruption network.
It was a great opportunity to learn about the leadership of the OECD in the tech improvement for international networking and collaboration and contribute to the discussion.
The direct presence and input from representants of prosecutor offices from several countries allowed a good understanding of the current workflows and communication bottlenecks.
The exchanges between the participants were fruitful, each one bringing a different perspective to the workshop.
IOV is looking forward to contributing more to the institutional discussions, with the OECD, the French government (as in the legal panel with the French MP and Head of regulator about crypto assets) and the European institutions.
