Meet Starname’s core team
Over the past few weeks, we’ve attracted a lot of attention following the announcement of Starname’s new road map and our intention to become a building block of the Internet of Values.
Some messages reached us through our different channels asking us about our level of commitment to succeed in this mission. We felt it was important to re-introduce the team, especially the core team, who pursue Starname’s mission every day to bring blockchain to people.
Some of you may already know, but people onboarding and getting to know the project right now might not be aware that we have been through some internal changes during the beginning of 2021.
A little over a month ago, as the project reached a new phase, IOV SAS, the company behind Starname, appointed a new CEO, Karim Ganem, and a new Product Manager, Stéphane Giloppé, to lead this new phase. The event was announced here.
Starname is a vision and a project made and kept alive by the work of many people. The big team is composed of our dear developers, collaborators, advisors and core team.
The core team, which is based in Barcelona, is working remotely, but try to get together at least once per week, respecting and taking into consideration all COVID-19 restrictions. 😷
This is who we are:
Karim Ganem, CEO — IOV co-founder, Karim has worked with the project since the beginning. He has been a tech entrepreneur for over 20 years, 12 of them in New York. He’s an award winner and published author passionate about blockchain technology, that he wants to make universally accessible and adopted by all.
Dave Puchyr, CTO — Dave has been with the project for 2 years. Polymath developer, he was previously at Goldman Sachs in New York. He’s an entrepreneur and holds a PhD in chemical engineering.
Stéphane Giloppé, Product Manager — With over 20 years of IT experience, Stéphane is a polymath developer and has worked on large IT projects of major corporate banks in New York.
The team’s mission is driven by the creation of the Starname which aims to become a cornerstone of value exchanges, as well as a secure, simplified and scalable approach to the use of blockchain for people.
Together, we have the desire to provide a solution to allow people to become their own creator of value and to be able to exchange it, send it and receive it, wherever they are and whatever they do.
