We are thrilled to announce the partnership with Aleph.im. Recently integrated to Cosmos, Aleph.im is a safe decentralized network that offers cross-technologies and cross-chain solutions.
About Aleph.im

Thanks to Aleph.im’s transformative technology, blockchain projects can finally decentralize the last mile of their tech stack (remove their off-chain dependencies) and leverage the full power of cross-chain composability.
Aleph.im’s technology is a powerful option to overcome usual single blockchain architecture issues, such as scalability and the possibility of communication with projects running on other chains.
Crypto-profile metadata and Aleph.im
This partnership with Aleph is key to make the crypto-profile possible. Some of the data included on the profile (i.e. owner, blockchain addresses, link to metadata) is stored on Starname chain and another part (i.e. username, picture, little bio and links to social media) in Aleph’s decentralised database. In the end, the crypto-profile entails on-chain (on Starname’s chain) and off-chain data (kept secured by Aleph).
ALEPH Token Integration
The integration of ALEPH, Aleph.im’s token, to the Starname Manager will allow ALEPH holders to easily register a starname and assign it to their Aleph.im address.
ALEPH holders will be able to send and receive ALEPH using their starname through the Starname Manager and Cosmostation wallet (more wallets coming soon!). In other words, your Aleph.im address can be linked to a name like *cryptofan and, when the sender is using any partner wallet, your starname is all you will need to share to be the receiver of a transaction.
Furthermore, when logging into the Starname Manager, ALEPH holders can use the crypto-profile feature to easily share their public crypto information.
