Short *starnames RELEASE
They’re the base of our economic model and they’re about to become available, *wow!
Our Stargate upgrade is now done and we’re back to and super focused on our chain’s agenda.
As announced previously, we are expanding the offer of premium *starnames!
Premium starnames are used by a company or people who want to have an exclusive and personalized blockchain address. Once you own a premium *starname, you can have many derived addresses: *dan offers the possibility to register office*dan, crypto*dan, etc.
Up to now, premium *starnames of 4, 5, and 6+ letters only were available to be registered but this is about to change.
Starnames of 3, 2 and 1 letters will start to be released very soon! *yay!
I want a short *starname! How is this going to be?
Short *starnames will be out, but they won’t be released all at once.
Letter m will be released first (we have a little gift planned for the community 🎁) and then we will follow the alphabetical order starting from the letter a.
Every 10 days another letter will be additionally available (a release calendar will follow this post!) and, after the alphabet is over, we will release the numbers from 0 to 9.
In other words, short *starnames starting with m (*m, *m_ and *m_ _ ) will be the first ones available. 10 days later it will be time for letter a (*a, *a_ and *a_ _ starnames), then 10 days after that is time for letter b (*b, *b_ and *b_ _ ) and so on.
Just like any other *starname, short names are unique and, after the letter’s release, the offer continues: this means that by the time letter b is released, short *starnames with m and a will be available and will continue to be.
Prices for premium short *starnames will be in accordance with starname’s price progression: 2.000, 5.000, and 10.000 $IOV for 3, 2, and 1 letter names respectively.
You will be able to register your short *starname on the Starname App (desktop) and on Cosmostation wallet (mobile).
IOV tokens are available on Bilaxy, Sputnik Exchange, Gravity DEX (early stages), and Osmosis (soon!).
