We have recently published an article on our blog explaining the new economic model that will be adopted after the Stargate launch.
In that article, we demonstrate why product fees, i.e. the fees coming from starname’s sales, are the primary source of revenue of Starname (IOV) Blockchain and why they make the 0% inflation possible.
Only starnames of 4, 5, and 6+ letters were available to be registered so far, but the starnames’ offer is about to be expanded!
Short starnames (3, 2 and 1 letters) will be available shortly after the Stargate migration. Hooray!
How this offer is going to be?
Short starnames will be out, but they won’t be released all at once though. This is how the offer is going to be: we will release letter M first, then we will follow the alphabetical order starting from letter A. Every 10 days one letter will be out (a calendar will come along with the first release)! After the alphabet is over, we will release the numbers from 0–9.
The first letter to be released is going to be marvelous “M”!
So *m, *m_ and *m_ _ starnames will be the first ones available. 10 days later it will be time for *a, *a_ and *a_ _, then 10 days later *b, *b_ and *b_ _ and so on. Prices for short starnames will be as announced previously, respecting the price progression there is already: 2000, 5000 and 10.000 $IOV for 3, 2 and 1 letter names respectively.
The offer is limited but will be expanding, so by the time letter B is released, short names with M and A will be available and will continue to be.
