It’s wasn’t just cricket on which MSD left its impact, his personality and name was distinctive enough to be used as a trademark. This trivia is just an informative piece on the trade marks owned and filed on behalf on the legend!

Gavaskar’s quote has always resonated with me and more so now that MSD has decided to hang his boots.

The aura of the man himself and the instances related to him on or off field can compel you to recollect things and show how capable he was to distinguish his strokes from others. Any person irrespective of being a MSD fan or not will always relate the phrase “the helicopter shot” or “Captain Cool” with the legend. He decided to retire also in an unassuming trademark style by uploading a touching video on social media account and asking the nation to consider him as retired from 19:29 hours.

Two amusing facts you would like to know

1) MSD was dismissed through a run out in his first as well as in the last match of his career.

2) 19:29 hours — He got run out and left the ground at 19:29 hours during his last match that he played against New Zealand in ICC World Cup 2019.

After having that poignant feeling that we will never get a chance to see him adorn the blue jersey, this bloke thought of sharing the impact of MSD on the IP arena by sharing few of the trade marks filed on his behalf by Rhiti Sports Management Private Limited

In case you come across any other information related to MSD’s intellectual property feel free to indicate it in the comments section.
