Pairing a USB foot pedal with an IPEVO Document Camera for hands-free capturing

Recently, we have received similar inquiries from hospitals, medical centers, and pharmaceutical companies asking about the possibility of using foot pedals with our document cameras to take snapshots. As this is the first time we have heard of such inquiries, it really interests us. We then went on to ask about their needs and understood that they need the foot pedal to work as a snapshot button for taking pictures of items or labels they are working with, hands-free. This is essential to them as they need to use both their hands for handling their work. More importantly, for hygiene reasons, they are not allowed to touch other things. So, to find out whether this would work for our document cameras, we decided to give it a try. We went online to buy a foot pedal and have it delivered to our office. Next, we set it up with our document camera and Visualizer software when it arrived. Finally, we nervously gave the foot pedal a step when it was time for the moment of truth, and hurray! It worked! Knowing that this meant a streamlined documenting process for our customers, everyone on the team was excited and delighted.
