all that is
all that isn’t
every day an acceptance
to muster up and claim

gratefulness always there
when hearts despair
the fondness of life trickles
back in
never leaving our souls

it’s wise to clear our heads
and give up all our dreads
for life is short
leave out your retorts

follow your hearts
to the place where it’s home
and you are happiest
for we needn’t remind ourselves
of our sappiest

remember to reiterate all the
things that bring life’s abundance
and don’t commiserate over things
once done or deeply regretted
for you have done more right than|
you think you have done
so move ahead, and get it

straighten out the wrinkles
that tend to make you go astray
for you are minding the store
of come what may
