Are Birth and Death Book Ends To His Whole Story?

Or do they push and pull him from one story to the next?

quiet
comfortable
cozy
peaceful
he slumbers
in the dim warmth
of amniotic fluid

then

a rumble
a quaking
a compression
a squeeze
a push
and suddenly
he’s greeted
by the brightest light he’s ever seen

a first inhalation
welcomed
smiled upon
cradled in parental arms
joyful sounds
love abounds

like a precious dew drop
his life story begins
words fill the pages
with characters and verbs
some he writes himself
others are written for him

mom
dad
brother
school
friendships
laughter
antics
hobbies
hopes
jobs
university…
