As Life Would Have It
A short poem

Sashaying through life
Like a unicorn walking on fluffy white clouds
In search of a myriad of wishful and hopeful pink dreams
Habitual spontaneity and reckless adventures
All a mask to cover the innards of an arid soul
Entangled in a web of duplicitous fairy tales
Deploying utmost agility to set oneself free from the delicate nexus of complexities
A maimed heart, a scarred mind, a broken spirit…
Deceptively dressed as arrogance
But bursting at the seams
As life would have it.
