The Busy Life / Photo by Deva Darshan on Unsplash

The city hums with life and sound,
A symphony of hustle all around.
Opportunities abound at every turn,
And yet, inside, one can still yearn.

The glittering lights and flashy cars,
All the material things raise the bars.
They promise happiness, fulfillment, and more,
But the emptiness persists at the core.

The pace of life can be dizzying,
The crowds and noise can be stifling.
In the midst of it all, one can feel lost,
Amidst the chaos and the exhaust.

The constant rush and endless grind,
Can take a toll on one’s peace of mind.
The soul longs for something more,
Then just the superficial, materialistic score.

City life can be a double-edged sword,
With every gain, a sense of loss is stored.
The more we have, the more we crave,
The more we hustle, the more we feel enslaved.

In the end, it’s not about what we gain,
But about what we leave behind and attain.
It’s about finding peace and meaning within,
Amidst the hustle and bustle of city din.

So, let’s pause and take a moment to reflect,
On what truly matters and what we neglect.
Let’s find balance amidst the frenzy,
And learn to be content with just being.
