Conspiracy Fact!?
Conveniently ignoring mindful advice
Conspiracy theories have never been taken too lightly
by the general public, theories scorned upon,
laughed at, laughing at those who deliver them
giving a kind of power over one who dares speak
ridiculous notions without a shred of credible evidence.
Times have now changed; conspiracy facts
now welcomed by a significant percentage of the general public
who are sure governments are manipulating this pandemic
as an excuse to steal their freedom.
“The numbers are not real, lies to control the masses”!
Go and give your conspiracy facts to those working
on the front line, fatigued Doctors and Nurses fighting to save
people dying in hospitals.
Give your conspiracy facts to those unable
to attend funerals of their loved ones.
See where that gets you.
Do it on your own, not on mass shouting your bravery
outside of an over-worked hospital, count yourself lucky
you have not had to watch a loved one suffer and die
a slow, painful death.
Although, maybe your conspiracy facts
would find some other justification, just not one
to inhibit your freedoms.
Go on, spread your unwanted over-inflated shellfish ego freely.
You stupid balloons.
