A leap of faith can unfold magic unknown

Celebration awaits
game plans stalled
2020 preliminary
Covid-19 appalled
Deserted city
marched on foot
crowded borders
headed to their roots
Banged plates
to cite the deed
lit diyas
to trial by fire and creed
Communal confined at home
fearless came for help
Nincompoop
defaced the only help
Alien pandemic
mirrored conduct error
animals having fun
humans living in terror
Technology seemed a boon in adversity
yet lockdown is no delight
cheers to ‘ache din’
lifeless days and caged nights
