Petals drift
from the branches,
a gentle snow
of those gone before.

Roots entwine
beneath the soil,
a web of those
who came before me.

The garden grows
verdant, ripe
with the cycles
of family tides.

I stand amid
the blooms, buds,
a bridge between
what was and will be.
