Fluorescent Lights

I want to want the unwanted.

I painted my nails a fluorescent pink
and my toes a fluorescent peach
because no one else is doing it
and it makes me happy.

Like the time I wore lime green to prom
that was when fluorescent strobe lights
and rave clothes were brightly dipped like fun dip
