A passion of strength unrecognized by most,
Love flowing, forbidden fruit.
Excitement in knowing
Within the eyes of others lies closely guarded
Disbelieving shock and moral disgust.

A bond formed closely, more so than
Bond’s created within a relationship
Held in our society of ethics correct.

Not brother, not sister, not cousins. Lovers.
Entwined bodies, minds, and spirits merge,
Alone but together in a wilderness of feelings.

Regression to primordial pasts,
A past which knew of no binding morality.

Carefully spoken spectator scorn
As disgust runs deep within the purist eye
Never to reach the mind of reason
Burning deep into the lover’s being.

Understanding not given a chance to grow,
Strength built upon foundations of their scorn
Laid by values carefully chosen in society’s moral eye.

Thank you, GB Rogut, as always for giving my words a platform. 🙏
Thank you all for reading and your precious time. Always. J. 🙏
