Is the world still falling apart?
when has it stopped and when did it start?
I’m flipping through the pages of my journal,
It's been a while since things have been normal.
Covid, racism, and a terrible economy,
people losing their homes all around me,
waiting on a stimulus check that still hasn’t come,
families not knowing where their next meal will come from.
Dear 2020, I think we’ve had enough of you,
fare thee well, I bid you adieu,
Take your political garbage too,
I’ll be glad when you’re in my rearview.
