Manipulated Time
Free uni-verse
Time, a figment of our imagination
flights of fancy fantastical measurements
estimates used for scoring points,
let’s make a point of numbers.
We are manipulators of time,
sometimes for good, others bad.
Abuse of time asserting positions of power
solidifying time to make it an entity to be admired or feared.
Time is given form on a wall, wrist, or device
to stare at becoming nervous or impatient
angry or joyful watching our projection of time
manipulated by its human controller measuring space through time.
Only within the laws of universal nature do we accept
the behaviour of perceived time
when time arrives in its choice of transportation
not our choice of transportation.
