fades in comparison to what I said to you in that moment
and it fades in comparison to the pain
that I can only hope it didn’t cause you
and of all the painful realizations I’ve had during these years
the worst one is about the ignorance I had in that moment
and that the destruction that followed from it
might be all on me.
