You shoo away my late-night fears,
Hold me up as I cry due to my peers.
Your kisses are the cure to my past,
Like reminders that bad things never last.
The warm hugs are my safe haven,
Like a cocoon of love protecting me from demons.
Your laugh is like music to my ears,
Like that one song that never fails to cheer.
The love you have for me is like a day so sunny,
Makes me want to give more love to my baby.
