his deteriorating form suggests
Service Recommended; however,
his constant bouts of tachycardia
mean his heart can’t hold charge
as his sinus node is generating
and transmitting electrical signals
expeditiously, he too starts to overheat.

Forget his brain, the epiglottis,
his left kidney, saturation levels,
liver failure, and the right kidney.
All of these broke down so long ago
watching him breathe without a pulse
indicates his body’s beyond repair.
