Permission To Land
A poem

When I opened on WhatsApp
those two pictures of you
in bed –arms spread wide open
like a Boeing’s 737 flaps – which
were sent on a one-time view,
your eyes and areolas blinked
bright as the runway lights
since you yearned for my fast approach
to touch down inside of you
until I can come to a complete stop
and my fasten seat belt sign
was switched off, just the way you like it.
