Time heals pain
Yet I only feel the rain

Purposeless searing tears
Feeding the roots of my fears

Intimate broken heart
Wearily back again at the start

Nothing to give
Searching for the will to live

Please stop leaving
My love is barely breathing

Trust meant sacrifice
What I could offer didn’t suffice

Accepting my wounds
I will suffer through the weather
Til love reblooms
I’ll put my heart back together
