Shame is a good thing this day and age in a selfish world.
Shame would find its rightful place, make its claim loudly
For us all to hear and pay attention to, this thing called shame.

Shame should be the name on all our lips pulling us into line
When we feel like a day off from responsibilities we have now
Put upon the planet with our westernized apathy and blame.

Shame has good advice for this race of slothful gluttony led by those
Of lustful greed. Reverse your idiotic ways, repent for your sins
Against the earth and each other for you will find greater shame at the feet Of Aidos!

None more beautiful in spirit will bring your own gnashing of teeth
As you beg her forgiveness of your shameful ways.

Too late! With Aidos comes Nemesis and her wrath
Your fortunes are no more as equilibrium is now restored.

You men of shame would not be told, to Hades fiery pit you must go.

Thank you GB Rogut for giving my words a platform here at iPoetry.
Thank you all for reading and your precious time. Always. J.
