Star Mind

Stars are like thoughts
Some twinkle in the distance
While others (the ones we focus on most)
Shine brightly
Some thoughts are helpful
While others are not
Which is why it’s important
To distinguish between the two
Otherwise the thoughts
That are unhelpful
Will flood the mind
And being
With their blanket beams
That block out the light
Of the very thoughts
That matter
Because the thoughts that matter
Are the helpful ones
That spread radiant beams
Of positivity
And love
