As quiet as it’s kept, thoughts echo loudly.

Engulfed in noise and bodies, never alone.

Rocks skip the pond with a density that is not mine.

Time fades the ripples transforming water into a mirror.

Holy ones walk, sinners sink into its distorted depths.

And the stillness is a gift when you return to Mother.
