The gentleman
He thoughtfully didn’t say every word
that you so badly longed for.
Everything is now silent in this world.
He, the gentleman, cared for you,
but made it clear he didn’t feel
what you fool still did.
With such a touch, he let you know
you are not what he wants any more.
There’s no place in his future for this.
So tired of life, he now shows you
he will not make an effort at all
to let what he created stay alive.
He again extinguished the flame,
didn’t you learn it the first time?
Yet, no one is the one to blame.
