A child sends me back in time

To my lost childhood

I was careless back then

A sated soul, yet I cared

To take care of all there is in the world

A child who slewed his flexible notions

To think like mob where he belongs

A child who learned to take steps with a rhythmic pace

Just to blend in with the crowd

A child whose every dream

Began and ended on winning hold of his world

A child whose careful each stride

Now makes me yearn for a carefree life.
