The Promise Was Broken

A poem

Photo by Womanizer WOW Tech on Unsplash

True love, you promised
through time in a minute
you and I, for always
hearts and souls facing light

But our kiss was just a figment of a vow between us
and forever meant only an instant
there was only nothingness
and our passion is no more.

Come and share with us your inner song
