Pride is the originator of all sins,
For it brought lucifer from high to low.
From the light to the dark, his actions show,
That lucifer has embodied evil, becoming its twin.
Pride and destruction are akin,
Hubris can be filthy, and then again, it can make one glow,
Blinded, however, by one’s superiority, one’s realization to destruction is slow.
For only the unfortunate felt the impact of pride’s full swing.
Unchecked pride manifests into a distorted view of reality,
Leaving the prideful one in utter confusion,
For only he can see the ultimate road of truth.
For them to be humble is a fatality,
But their hubris is nothing less than an illusion,
For their unchecked pride, they destroyed their mental youth.
