Waster!

Unashamed behavior from a restaurant owner

Not to collect, keep and recycle
But to throw your rubbish on to the beach.
“No prob-lem, sea can clean.”
No conscience or shame from one restaurant owner
Who makes a handsome living from the beach and the sea,
To take, take, take, then take some more.

If discerning customers knew
They would come back no more.
You do not like the foreigner,
It’s their money you love so much.

Not true, you like the ones who come back
Time and time again to spend, they even find you funny,
This would not so if your behavior they knew.

Revenge is yours for those who trample upon your land
As you feed the customer with plastic-filled fish,
Straight from the tables of your wasteful restaurant.

Year after year, you use the sea as your dustbin,
Lazy and unwilling to pay for your overused rubbish collection,
With your scrawny middle finger up at life, wow, you’re such a winner.

Gleeful at your cleverness, you get away with it yet again!
Life has a way of serving up karma; it’s your children and grandchildren
Reaping the benefits of your ill-gotten ways.

You will never read this, have time to think and not repent,
As you only read the numbers on the money,
And a hearty bank statement of which will all burn soon.

Thank you, GB Rogut, for giving my words a platform here at iPoetry.
Thank you all for reading and your precious time. Always. J.
