Would you hold me close?
In these lonely nights
When the eyes get teary
And mouth finds no words

Would you smile with me?
In the midst of never-ending sorrow
When faith is a long-lost friend
And hope is a distant dream

Would you be my side?
In the dark room filled with silence
When even I can’t recognize myself
And my lifeless soul sings the rhythm of death

Would you just and still, be you?
In the unjust, cruel, and terrible world
When the moon avenges the sun
And wins over all with jealousy & pride

Would you still hold me?
