iProspect will travel to Cannes this year with our unique perspective on the future which we call “tomorrowthink.” The 64th Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, 17–24 June 2017, is expected to draw 15,000 people from 100 countries including brand leaders, tech companies, start-ups, and creative people from all walks of life.

This year, the Cannes Lions Festival theme is centered on creativity in the economy, society and culture as a positive force for business, for change, and for good in the world. Aligned to this, tomorrowthink embodies iProspect’s belief that the future is now today, and requires a mindset that anticipates change and embraces innovation, inclusivity and imagination.

“It is time to look at the tangible solutions that can play a small part in changing the paradigm of inequality — in our own back yards, with the belief that we can be better together.” Ruth Stubbs, Global President, iProspect

iProspect will start the week with Ruth Stubbs, Global President, taking the stage with Facebook, Google, The World Economic Forum and Nigel Morris, CEO of Dentsu Aegis Network Americas & EMEA, for A Final Call To Arms: Bridging The Gap with Tech. Ruth will foray into gender pay equality, funding, policy evolution and technology advancements that can power universal access at scale when industry influencers focus on driving substantial and sustainable change. While embracing the digital economy may be easy, the hard part is defining our responsibility in making a digital economy that is good for all.

Tony Chen, CEO, iProspect China, will appear in the Cannes Lions Palais to lead a conversation with Baidu’s Vice President of AI, Alex Cheng, on how machine learning technologies are being used by the most forward-looking brands to change how they reach their audiences. Beyond a Minority Report dystopia, Tony will lead a discussion on Tuesday, June 20th, on how Baidu believes AI can be used to benefit society as a whole.

In keeping with our tomorowthink theme, Shenda Loughnane, iProspect’s Global Chief Strategy Officer, and Joanna Catalano, CEO, iProspect APAC, will lead discussions at the Dentsu Aegis Network Beach House focusing on the future of AI, bots and brands, and how brands are transforming transactional commerce. If you will be at Cannes, you can request access to these sessions here.

Joanna Catalano will take the stage again, this time on the Facebook Beach, to join Gucci, Carat and Facebook on a panel to discuss the intersection of luxury and technology, the new luxury consumer in the digital marketplace, the implications of open access to luxury with the click of a button or a tap on a smartphone, and where the future of luxury is headed.

Follow #tomorrowthink to be inspired, join the conversation, and stay connected. We’ll see you on the Croisette…
