In Ponchiqs, players take on twin rolls. On the one hand, they can be toy designers, and on the other they can be Ponchiqs trainers. As a trainer, the game revolves around getting your Ponchiq tough, training them to their full potential and battling against other Ponchiqs or formidable foes. As a toy designer, the game involves putting together a one-of-a-kind toy, with unique traits, skills, and even a backstory. Together, these roles open a world of possibilities for exploration, battles, and storytelling. Paired with the in-game currency and ability to trade assets on a marketplace, the opportunities to play and earn expand as you go.

With each of the characters created in Ponchiqs being an NFT, much of the fun of the game is found in mixing and matching the characters with their world. Wow! This is all risk- and collateral-free? How’s that possible?!
Importantly, the NFT marketplace on IQ Protocol is risk-free. Typical modes of lending an asset puts the lender at risk, say, if the borrower loses hold of the asset (for whatever reason). With IQ Protocol, such risks are not a concern. Instead of giving the original asset to the borrower, IQ Protocol mints an expirable version of the NFT (which contains all of the unique features of the original). This NFT is then given to the borrower. This guarantees that the original NFT is always safe and can be returned to the owner after the agreed-upon rental contract has expired. Now, players can rest easy renting out their most valuable items.
