Deverse
Deverse is a decentralized sandbox metaverse game on Polygon. Powered by Unreal Engine 5, Deverse offers players a wide-open landscape of worlds to explore. But the game is not simply made of preset locations and activities! Instead, their metaverse is jointly created by their community, including games such as racing, shooting, role-playing, and hosting virtual events, NFT showcases, and more.
In order to make Deverse as welcoming as possible, they offer players a variety of tools to use while playing or creating elements of the metaverse. For example, for game creators, they offer an SDK and a Quest Creator Tool which makes it easy for users to design and introduce aspects of gameplay — such as NFTs and levels, games, and adventures for others to discover!
Being a blockchain game, Deverse also offers the opportunity to play-and-earn. Players can earn tokens in a variety of ways, from creating content and tackling in-game quests, to serving specific social roles and contributing to the platform’s decentralized infrastructure. You can also earn tokens by creating, selling, or renting all of your in-game assets.

IQ Protocol will be providing the basis for the NFT rental marketplace within Deverse!
A core feature of IQ Protocol’s platform is the ability to create wrapped, expirable versions of digital assets, which can be used as the basis for a variety of solutions. Among these uses is the ability to lend and rent NFTs in a risk-free way.
Thanks to IQ Protocol, players of Deverse will be able to do more than simply trade or sell their valuable assets that they aren’t currently using. Now, they will be able to retain their NFTs and make passive income while allowing other players to gain their unique benefits. Players will be able to rent out any of their NFTs, providing a fantastic opportunity for them to maximize ROI from, for example, rare weapons or vehicles.
We said our NFT renting model was risk-free. How does that work?
IQ Protocol provides the infrastructure for one player to rent out their NFTs to other players for a pre-arranged amount of time and for an agreed-upon price, benefiting both parties involved. Where stakers and lenders gain interest or income on their assets, renters gain access to whatever utility the asset represents, thereby bringing to life the use cases the assets empower. Now, players can rest easy renting out the items that they aren’t currently using, providing a source of passive income without having to sell their favorite assets.
