Revenant is the first decentralized gaming ecosystem on the Metis network. Their platform offers a complete package — something for gamers, game developers, and investors alike!
Created by lovers of gaming and gaming culture, their mission is to create and host blockchain games that are not only unique, sophisticated, and enjoyable, but also allow players to earn while playing.
Revenant’s native governance token — and the primary digital asset within their ecosystem — is $GAMEFI. This token can be used all across their platform: from purchasing NFTs and participating in community votes, to entering gaming tournaments and earning rewards (and more)!
Currently nearing the final stages of development, the first game Revenant is developing is Battle of Olympus. A Tekken-inspired fighting game, Battle of Olympus allows players to assume the role of Greek gods and test their strength against other players.
For game developers, Revenant offers their Revenant Launchpad, making the process of funding and launching games as simple as possible for teams. And for investors, the Launchpad means plenty of opportunities to participate in early-stage investing in promising GameFi projects. Revenant provides this so that game developers can spend their time focusing on what’s most important to them, namely creating the best possible game they can!

A specialty of IQ Protocol is our focus on creating a collateral-less and risk-free model for lending and renting digital assets, such as NFTs. In fact, IQ Protocol offers a host of innovative features that will transform digital-asset marketplaces!
IQ Protocol will serve as the basis for the NFT rental marketplace on Revenant. For instance, players of Battle of Olympus will be able to do more than simply trade or sell their valuable assets that they aren’t currently using. Now, they will be able to retain their NFTs and make passive income while allowing other players to gain their unique benefits. Players will be able to rent out any of their NFTs, providing a fantastic opportunity for them to maximize ROI from, for example, rare weapons or vehicles.
Wait… you said the renting and borrowing is risk-free and collateral-less?! Tell me more!
We at IQ Protocol know that digital assets are not only valuable, but are also important to their owners. That is why we have worked hard to come up with a secure platform for renting and borrowing of digital assets. Typical modes of lending an asset puts a lender at risk, say, if the borrower refuses to return or loses hold of the asset (for whatever reason). With IQ Protocol, such risks are not a concern.
Instead of giving the original asset to the borrower, IQ Protocol mints an expirable version of the NFT (which contains all of the unique features of the original). This NFT is then given to the borrower. This guarantees that the original NFT is always safe and can be returned to the owner after the agreed-upon rental contract has expired.
