The Digital Consulting Company, part of Be Group, publishes the first game of the Saga featuring the chick YoYo® protagonist. Designed for children and families, the app enhances the experience and skills acquired over the years on development, game design and UX and vertical knowledge of the sports segment
ROME, May 20. Increasingly high-performance devices, constantly improving gaming experience and the concept of “play everywhere”: the gaming market, especially mobile, continues to record growing numbers. In Italy, the videogame sector confirms the positive trend and in 2018 recorded a + 18.9% compared to the previous year with a turnover of 1.7 billion euros. Mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets are popular, with over 10.1 million Italian gamers using them (AESVI data).
In this context, given the experiences alongside important brands in various sectors such as Retail and Sport, the new skills included in the team and the propensity for continuous experimentation, IQUII presents its first project in the world of edutainment dedicated to children and families with “YoYo: Soccer Saga” app.
The app features YoYo®, a chick passionate about sports that will be the mascot of this first game and will follow the little soccer fans in different activities, each designed to stimulate creativity, concentration, imagination, manual and logical skills:

“The gaming world is growing very fast and we have found a strong interest in a segment complementary to us, that of sport and retail. Let’s start with a focus on children and families: we will create games for different industry brands, with the aim of creating engagement, awareness and data acquisition”. Fabio Lalli, CEO of IQUII explains “this is where YoYo® is born, the character that will accompany children in this games sequence: Soccer Saga will be the first game dedicated to the world of football. We are already working on other games for sport and retail and we are already in development with some clubs. We are also considering partnerships and some game design & development teams that want to join our team”.
YoYo: Soccer Saga, available for free on the App Store and Google Play, is designed not only for the little ones but also for the parents, as a further opportunity to stay together as a family. With the help of adults, the little ones will learn the pleasure of collecting the figurines of the mascots of the clubs and to recognize and match colors and t-shirts like real soccer fans.
