Meet & Greet / عید دیدنی
So I’m back in London after spending nine days in beautiful Tehran for Nowruz.
We had organised a few meetings before our big day and met some incredible individuals on this trip so if you are reading this, thank you for your time.
Our Meet and Greet event was on the 27th March. It wasn’t like a big bang event but more of a casual setting. Some attendees were even making their own hot drinks which kind of summed up the spirit of the event.
Our first guest arrived promptly at 11:00. After exchanging the pleasantries, we ended up talking about the state of entrepreneurship in Iran and how there are many business opportunities if only people looked in the right places. We discussed how emigration sometimes means people have to spend their lives away from their loved ones, or not being able to see them for long periods of time just to earn a little bit extra.
