Caught on the wet fly, on a mid intermediate fly line, 6lb nylon on a size 12 Golden Olive Bumble on 3rd dropper, in about 4 foot of water near Inchagoill.

It took 1.5 hours to land, taking angler Robin Syme down to the backing reports the IFI. The fish was first hooked at 9.45pm between Oughterard and Headford in the shallows of Inchagoill on Lough Corrib.

Weighed the next morning the fish came in at 7kg/15lbs 7ozs. What a fish.
