IRISnet (a.k.a IRIS Hub) is designed to be the foundation for the next-generation distributed applications. Built with Cosmos-SDK, IRIS Hub enables cross-chain interoperability through a unified service model, while providing a variety of modules to support DeFi applications. TL;DR
- Unit testing of ICS03, ICS04 were added for the IBC module in Cosmos SDK;
- The rc version of v0.16 of the IRIS Hub was announced. Coinswap, HTLC, snapshot and other functions were introduced;
- A new incentivized testnet named Nyancat-5 was initiated and v0.16.0 test was completed;
- Error handling was optimized when the snapshot nodes broadcast blocks in Tendermint;
- A bug of snapshot was fixed in irishub. HTLC, error message of Coinswap were optimized;
- User experience of the Rainbow validator list was improved and the performance of the multi-chain wallet was optimized;

Mainnet IRIS Hub
The rc version of v0.16 of the IRIS Hub was announced. Features such as Coinswap and HTLC are introduced. Coinswap is a uniswap-like decentralized token exchange function: https://coinswap.nyancat.irisnet.org/
V0.16 also has some very popular features, such as snapshot. The blockheight of the mainnet has exceeded 3 million and the mainnet has been running smoothly. However, the amount of data continues to increase. Therefore, we also provide the function of snapshot, nodes do not need to save all the historical data anymore. Moreover, you can quickly start a node without synchronizing all historical data.
At the same time, a new incentive testnet,Nyancat-5, was launched for the v0.16. Rewards can be earned if certain tasks are completed. The technical community participated in it with enthusiasm and the v0.16.0 test was completed successfully.
Irishub Software
- [tendermint] V0.32.0 got released;
- [tendermint] Error handling was optimized when the snapshot node broadcasts a block;
- [tendermint] V0.32.1 was released;
- V0.16.0-rc0 was released;

— Bugs of the snapshot feature got fixed;

Rainbow Wallet
- Rainbow v2.6.5 was released:
— User experience of the validator list was improved;
— Performance of multi-chain wallets was optimized;
- Rainbow v2.7.0 was under development:
— The voting module was improved;
— Users will be able to use the mnemonic input assist function;
— Users can deposit tokens into Binance DEX address chosen from the address book.
IRISplorer
- V0.10.4 is under development, and is scheduled to be released upon the completion of irishub v0.16 upgrade:
— Users will be able to view HTLC-related contract information, searches, transaction lists, and details;
— Users will be able to view lists and details of Guardian-related transactions;
— Details of the validator’s page (moniker) was improved.

IRISnet research director Jeffrey was invited to deliver a speech at System Architect Conference China, on the theme of the latest dev of inter-blockchain tech. He also shared how IRISnet solves complex business application issues through interchain technology.

Industrial Securities 2020 Strategy Conference
IRISnet research director Jeffrey delivered a speech at Industrial Securities 2020 Strategy Conference at Lujiazui. He shared the use cases of BEAN with many IT expertise, including Guowen Jiang from Huawei Cloud, Chief Analysts, etc.

Nov 11, IRISnet Research Director Jeffrey Hu was invited to an AMA to discuss how IRISnet connects the digital economy with the real economy through distributed business applications. Show Page of UniCoins Launched
UniCoins is a Dapp used as a red pocket in China based on IRISnet and Cosmos. It enables users to send cryptocurrency directly to others using a function of red pocket, create and share a lucky draw event, and make an intelligent bulk transfer. Next week, the developer Jack’s team will upgrade a function of registration + release an announcement of invitation rewards. In addition, they will launch other features soon. After the launch of IBC protocol, they will update our Dapp synchronously and implement a feature of cross-chain transfer of multiple-token in our red pockets.
