IRISnet (a.k.a IRIS Hub) is designed to be the foundation for the next-generation distributed applications. Built with Cosmos-SDK, IRIS Hub enables cross-chain interoperability through a unified service model, while providing a variety of modules to support applications. TL;DR

Irishub unit test is improved;
Irishub swagger-ui is migrated to support REST APIs;
Biometric unlock is added in Rainbow v2.7.2;
Footer information is added in IRISplorer 0.10.6 to improve details of HTLC-related transactions;
Core development team of IRISnet has joined Shanghai Blockchain Technology Association;
IRIS Monitor was released by Everstake;
The UniCoins test module event is over. COIRFAN network data page is launched;
From Dec16 to Dec 29, IRISnet has participated in 3 events: DeFi Labs AMA, Cosmos Retrospective Community Video, and Nanjing Onchain Network interview.

Technical Updates

Irishub Software

Irishub based on the COSMOS-SDK is refactored:
Unit test is improved;
Swagger-ui is migrated to support REST APIs;
Asset module is moved as asset/token submodule;
The refunded HTLC is deleted.

Rainbow Wallet

Rainbow v2.7.2 is under Development:
Biometric unlocking is added;
Rainbow v2.9.0 is under development and test.

IRISplorer

0.10.6 is under design and development:

--Footer information is added, showing node version number and Tendermint version number;

--Details of HTLC-related transactions are improved, making the From and To information display consistent.

Community Updates

DeFi Labs AMA

On Sep 18th, Sunny Aggarwal from the core developer team of Cosmos & Tendermint was invited to a Chinese influencer community at DeFi Labs to talk about Mapping DeFi projects, Shared Security and Interchain Staking. IRISnet provided community support for the AMA.

Cosmos Community New Year Video

Under the organization of Adriana, the community manager of the Tendermint team, Cosmos Community New Year video series is filmed. As an important hub in the Cosmos ecosystem, IRISnet also participated in the shooting and production of the video, sharing reviews of the past year and some hopes to the future.

Nanjing Onchain Interview

Cross-chain is a hot blockchain topic that cannot be ignored in 2019. Among the most anticipated projects rated at the beginning of the year by Bloomberg, Cosmos and Polkadot were listed as two representative cross-chain projects. 2019 is coming to an end, how will cross-chain develop in 2020? Jefferey Hu, IRISnet Research Director of Research, was invited to an interview by Nanjing Onchain Network and answered a series of questions.

UniCoins Dapp Market

UniCoins is a Dapp market used as a red pocket in China based on IRISnet and Cosmos. It enables users to send cryptocurrency directly to others using a function of red pocket, create and share a lucky draw event, and make an intelligent bulk transfer. Welcome to join Wechat group and telegram group. The UniCoins test module event was over. The top 10 and signing up rewards have been sent. Thanks for users' support.

COIRFAN Cross-chain Chinese community

Developed by Cosmos and IRISnet community volunteer Jack and his team, the Chinese cross-chain community website COIRFAN was launched. COIRFAN covers the latest upgrade of the project, data of Cosmos & IRISnet, forums, help center, and other functions. COIRFAN network data page is launched. This is a Christmas gift to all Cosmos & IRISnet users. In network data page, you can clearly view all network data, graphs of statistical analysis , top 10 validators ranking, and project information links. The page supports multi-language versions.
