IRISnet Incentivized Testnet: Fuxi
IRISnet is rolling out an incentivized testnet. Before the launch of IRISHub , there would be iterations of testnets. The current testnet is Fuxi-2000.
The IRIS network will keep generating value when its validators could keep the whole network secure. The aim of this program is to:
- Raise awareness of IRISnet from crypto community
- Discover qualified validators and give them opportunities to earn IRIS tokens
- Train IRISnet potential validator candidates
The participants could earn some points by setting up a reliable validator nodes or finish some specific tasks.
IRIS Foundation plans to give the qualified validators opportunity to participate in IRIS private sale. The invitation will be made before IRIS mainnet launches based on the validator performance in the testnet. KYC is required and Chinese and American citizens are excluded.

IRISnet will reward all the qualified participants of Fuxi testnet.

IRISnet development team is proud to release Fuxi-2000 testnet. It was open for all community members to join. We’ve cut a fresh releases of IRISHub, v0.3.4. It is live since Aug 9th.

To get more people involved, IRIS foundation decides to send out more tasks in the latest iteration of testnet:Fuxi-3000.

- If you want to participate in genesis generation process of this testnet, you must run the latest software release of the IRISHub and follow the instructions to submit your gen-tx file before 20 September 1am UTC+8.

- Use IRIShub monitoring tool to keep an eye on your node’s status
- Join testnet and finish Tasks
- Post Evidence by replying the issues on Github, only top 40 replies will be counted
We will maintain a record of reward distribution on GitHub. The entire process of this program will kept transparent and fair. And surely, we welcome each IRISnet participant to supervise and keep track of this unprecedented program.
Game Of Genesis
IRISnet will co-host an virtual Hackarthon with Dorahacks, codename Game Of Genesis.

IRISnet will launch a special testnet with adversarial environment with Dorahacks. The aim is to boost enthusiasm to participate in the testnet by putting up bounties. The rule to win the game is very simple: compete for the most iris tokens. This testnet is to simulate a mainnet environment to stress-test the configuration of all validators. IRIS&Dorahacks believes hackathons will generate the most impressive solutions for protecting a Proof-of-Stake blockchain.
