What to Expect with IRISnet 2.1

A Headline Feature: Interchain NFTs

IRISnet 2.1 brings a standout feature — the integration of the nft-transfer module, introducing Interchain NFT functionality. Following rigorous testing during the GoN event and meticulous auditing, Interchain NFTs are primed to make their debut onto mainnets. IRISnet 2.1 will encompass this groundbreaking functionality, empowering developers to embark on an Interchain NFT journey filled with possibilities.

Expanded API Functionality

In response to demands, IRISnet 2.1 introduces support for querying NFTs through the x/nft module API. Furthermore, the irismod/nft module empowers users to explore the vast landscape of Interchain NFTs, expanding the horizons of the ecosystem.

Under the Hood: Dependency Upgrades

This upgrade encompasses under-the-hood improvements, including upgrades to Cosmos SDK v0.47.4, CometBFT v0.37.2 and IBC v7.3.0.

The Nyancat testnet is now open for validators, service providers, and dApp builders on IRISnet to put everything to the test. Join the testnet via our Discord server (# 😼-testnet-nyancat).
