IRISnet’s mainnet has been running smoothly ever since its launch, and this is largely due to the work and dedication of validators across the globe. To encourage the participation of new validators and reward validators who have contributed significantly to IRISnet in the past, the foundation has decided to reward 14 validators with a one time reward, also set up the “Rainbow Validator” award, which will continually receive application forms; every month, the foundation will select up to 3 validators to receive this award and its accompanying rewards.

Accumulative Contribution Rewards

In order to boost the validators’ motivation and capabilities to maintain network security for the long-term, the foundation will bestow a one time reward (10,000 IRIS per recipient) for the following qualified validators.

🏆Award for consistent and active engagement in the IRISnet ecosystem and having a considerable amount of bonded tokens.

The leaders of the validator community is key to the smooth development of IRISnet. These validators rank amongst the very top in bonded tokens, and they have been consistently contributing to the ecosystem development of IRISnet ever since its launch; they set a remarkable example for validators who are new to IRISnet.

Their long-term dedication have fostered growth of the IRISnet ecosystem, and they are unanimously recognized by the community administrators; at the same time, they have fulfilled the following requirements:

  • Ranks 1–20 in bonded tokens
  • Launched node prior to May 31, 2019
  • Has at least 10 delegators
  • Has at least 10,000 self-bonded tokens

The following 6 validators will each receive a reward of 10,000 IRIS from the foundation:

These 6 validators have been actively engaged in the IRISnet ecosystem: Ping.pub developed a web browser that supports IRIS Hub, actively engaged in community proposal managements, and organized offline meet-ups in multiple cities in China; Cypher Core hosted IRISnet-related events on a variety of platforms and actively answered questions from the community; MathWallet popularized IRISnet through videos and articles and developed an SDK for application development on IRISnet. Wetez authored articles on IRISnet and promptly supported the transferring, receiving, and delegation of IRIS on Wetez Wallet; Bitcat created a IRISnet node technical forum and hosted community outreach revolving around IRISnet; melea-◮👁◭ promptly answered technical questions from the community, translated IRISnet articles to local languages, and conducted related outreach.

🏆Award for consistent operations despite not having high amounts of bonded tokens.

Aside from the top-ranked validators, the IRISnet ecosystem cannot exist without a group of validators who consistently contribute to the community. They don’t necessarily boast flashy token counts, but they have been continuously running their nodes ever since the launch of the mainnet. Their persistence is key to the success of IRISnet and its validators.

They have fulfilled the following requirements:

  • Ranks 45 and below in bonded tokens
  • Created nodes prior to May 31, 2019
  • Has at least 5 delegators
  • Has at least 10,000 self-bonded tokens

The following 8 validators will each receive 10,000 IRIS from the foundation:

Monthly Award Through Applications

🌈The Rainbow Validator Award:

In order to boost the participation of new validators, encourage active community outreach by the validators, and incentivize active engagement in the IRISnet ecosystem for increasing bonded tokens, the foundation will select up to 3 validators from the validators who apply to be the Rainbow Validator and award them each with 10,000 IRIS; they will also be provided with an opportunity to showcase themselves.

Validators who completes the application form will be wholistically reviewed by the IRISnet committee based on the following standards :

  • Newly-joined validators: IRISnwet welcomes new validators. If you are a new member of the IRISnet validator family and have already provided support to the community and the ecosystem (especially if you haven’t received the delegation support given by the foundation) , you are within the scope of this award.
  • Validators who actively conduct promotion and community outreach: IRISnet has plenty of validators who are active in the community. If you have a platform on the official community or your own community, hosted outreach events for IRISnet, actively expands the community platform, and makes an effort to attract new users outside of the community, you are within the scope of this award.
  • Validators who have rising delegation or delegator counts: Validators are encouraged to conduct outreach and promotions in order to boost delegations. If your net delegations or delegators have had considerable increase in the past 31 days, you are within the scope of this award.

Congratulations to the following 3 validators; after applying and going through our review process, they became the first group of Rainbow Validators and will be receiving 10,000 IRIS as their reward; the foundation will also provide them with the opportunity to be featured:

Validators who are interested in the award can fill out the following form which will remains open; validators who were not selected for the award are welcomed to re-apply, but please Re-fill the form and display your contributions for the past month.
